The Cruise of Our Lady of the Snows we can contemplate it, currently, in front of the Church, in a small grassy roundabout, after, in 2003, the Parish Council decided to change it, in order to give it greater prominence and beautify the square. Its original site was located about 200m from the front of the church, on the steep western slope, in sowing land, difficult to access which gave it an air of abandonment and at the mercy of agricultural machinery, and an indicative marble landmark was placed there.
The building of the parish church of Our Lady of the Snows, in the firstfruits called Santa Maria das Neves, is before 1534, because, on that date, by determination of Father António Pereira, it underwent the expansion of its high altar and were demolished the houses of the hermit that were linked to the body of the church and proceeded to lease the churchand the passal of the cured.'
